Luna De Rosa is an Italian multidisciplinary artist and activist from the Rom*nja diaspora, based between Berlin and Milan. Her artistic practice centers on the body as a conduit for exploring the intricate relationship between the individual and the societal forces that shape and define them. Through public interventions, De Rosa examines the vulnerability of marginalized communities, with a particular focus on the Rom*nja. Utilizing diverse media—ranging from performance to painting and installation—she challenges stereotypes and prejudices, giving form to complex, evolving identities. Her work intertwines themes of femininity, belonging, and conflict, creating evocative, fluid representations that capture the nuances of identities in transition.
